they were rather intimidating..! but the meat stamps were fun. stamping "rump roast" on random people's orders always brought a tear to my eye..

ha ha! and i love how they just throw "fish" in with veal/lamb/fowl (sic). because fish clearly falls under one of those three categories..

Julia, I think you misunderstood. The proprietors of the stamp shop aren't fond of fish. The heading clearly states:
"Veal, Lamb and Foul Stamps"

This is neither here nor there, but someone at work arranged for a catered lunch recently, and listed the vegetarian option as "tuna salad."
